October 10th is World Mental Health Day- there’ll be activities across the county to celebrate this and help to continue to raise awareness of how mental health affects us all.
At Talking Matters Northumberland we understand that asking for help can be difficult and can actually make us more anxious if we don’t know what to expect. So, on October 10th we’ll be having an open afternoon at our Morpeth Spoke to help answer any questions you might have about mental health or TMN. There’ll be refreshments (we might even throw in a biscuit or two!), information on a range of different mental health difficulties, as well as therapists to talk to if you want to find out how the service can support you.
We’ll be open from 2-5pm and you can find us at Unit 4, Telford Court, Morpeth, NE61 2DB (just over the road from County Hall).
We’d love to see you there!
